You will love the flavor, and that you can assemble it in the morning and bake it later.

Praline-Crusted Sweet Potatoes
Vegetarian, Soy Free

  1. PEEL potatoes and cut each into 3 or 4 chunks. Place in steamer basket in saucepan and cook covered over simmering water about 20 to 25 minutes or until tender. (Note: May also bake or microwave potatoes.)
  2. HEAT oven to 350ºF.
  3. PLACE potatoes in large bowl; mash. Add 2 tablespoons of the butter, vanilla, cream, cinnamon and salt; mix well. Spread in 2-quart baking dish.
  4. MIX remaining 3 tablespoons butter, sugar and flour until well blended and crumbly. Mix in pecans. Sprinkle over potato mixture.
  5. BAKE 30 minutes or until heated through and topping is crisp.
