  1. PLACE vinegar, sugar, and seasoning in small bowl. Gradually add oil, whisking until blended.
  2. PLACE remaining ingredients in salad bowl. Add dressing as desired; toss to coat well.
  3. SERVE immediately.

To make candied walnuts, heat 3 tablespoons sugar in medium skillet over medium-high heat until sugar begins to melt. Add 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts; stir constantly until sugar is melted and nuts are coated. Turn onto waxed paper; cool completely.


Prepare with toasted walnuts for candied walnuts.
