SQUEEZE 6 tablespoons juice from lemons, reserving one half to cut into thin slices. Add lemon juice, fruit and water to blender (such as a Vitamix); blend until smooth.
POUR through strainer; pressing out all liquid. Note: If you like a thicker beverage with pulp, no need to strain. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
SERVE over ice with lemon slices.
Serve with fruit kabob on toothpick of cut watermelon piece and strawberry.
Add a splash of vodka, rum, or tequila!
If you like a tart lemonade, add more lemon juice. If you like a sweeter lemonade, add more sugar.
Two large, heavy lemons will give about 1/2 cup of juice.
Substitute limes for part of the fresh lemon juice.
