Spicy Orange Shrimp with Broccoli

SEASON shrimp with salt and pepper; set aside.
HEAT orange juice, honey, and soy sauce to a boil in small saucepan over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer about 8 minutes, or until reduced by half.
HEAT a medium skillet over medium heat; add oil. Add jalapeño and garlic; cook 2 minutes. Add shrimp; cook until shrimp turn pink, turning with tongs to cook evenly. Stir in orange juice reduction; continue cooking 2 to 3 minutes. Carefully remove shrimp from sauce in skillet. Add broccoli; cook about 4 minutes or just until broccoli is crisp-tender. Stir shrimp and orange segments into skillet. Serve with rice.
To make even spicier, add a dash or two of crushed red pepper flakes with jalapeño and garlic.
This recipe can be easily doubled for 4 servings; use a medium saucepan and large skillet.
Zest about a teaspoon of the orange rind before peeling. Add zest with orange segments.
