You can buy these pricey little goodies at the store, or make them yourself for a fraction of the cost and enjoy a much better flavor. Keep them on hand in the freezer and you will love yourself forever. With a good dark chocolate, they are vegan and dairy free.

  1. MICROWAVE chocolate in microwavable bowl for 30 seconds on HIGH power; stir. Continue microwaving for 30 second intervals until chocolate is melted when stirred. Stir in coconut oil.
  2. LOWER one banana slice into chocolate on a fork; coat completely. Gently tap to remove excess chocolate.
  3. COAT with toppers, as desired. Transfer to small parchment or waxed paper-lined tray; freeze for 20 minutes to harden. Place in air-tight container; freeze. Will keep frozen for about 4 weeks.

TIPS

The coconut oil will thin the chocolate slightly to make dipping easier.

If the chocolate begins to harden as you work, microwave for 15 seconds.
