Easy Baked Granola

  1. HEAT oven to 275ºF. Line half sheet pan with parchment paper (if you have it).
  2. MIX oats, nuts, coconut, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in large bowl.
  3. STIR syrup and oil; pour over oat mixture and mix until very thoroughly coated. Press down in pan in single layer.
  4. BAKE 40 minutes; rotate pan. (Do not stir if you want chunks of granola.) Continue baking 30 minutes. Sprinkle with dried fruit. Let cool completely; break into pieces. Or, cool completely; break into chunks and add chocolate chips.

Dried fruits such as cherries, cranberries, raisins, or chopped apricots are great additions.
