  1. HEAT oven to 350ºF.
  2. BEAT butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs; beat well. Combine dry ingredients in small bowl; add alternately to egg mixture with mashed banana. Stir in chocolate and nuts. Spread into greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  3. BAKE 45 to 48 minutes or until pick inserted near center comes out nearly clean. Remove from pan; cool on rack.
